Roto-Rooter’s Video camera equipment has become an essential tool in the sewer and drain inspection process, ensuring your lines are free and clear from your home or business to city laterals. Our custom made fiber optic cameras allow for a visual inspection of underground sewer lines and other piping to determine the condition of the inside of the pipe.

An extremely flexible cable and rod equipped with a high-resolution video camera on its end is inserted into the  drain or sewer pipe for inspection. Video images are transmitted to the camera operator’s TV on the surface, and can be saved onto a VHS tape or a DVD for a permanent record. Radio transmitters on the camera record the depth and physical location of the problem in relation to the surface so that defects and obstructions can be located and repaired quickly and cost effectively  by the team with as little damage to surrounding landscaping and property as possible.
